I’m Brett — a Kiwi now living in England, a photographer and lecturer with a deep love for analogue processes and a strong sense of visual language.

I’ve always been drawn to mid-century industrial lighting: its bold presence, honest materials, and the character that only time can create. That fascination slowly grew into something more, and eventually Hausvolt was born.

Hausvolt is my way of following a long-held dream — sourcing, restoring, and reimagining industrial lighting with care, creativity, and respect for its history. Each piece is renewed by hand, keeping its soul while preparing it for a new life.
